4′ x 6′ Safe Room Installed in Durant, OK

A couple weekends ago we had the pleasure of installing a 4′ x 6′ safe room for a couple in Durant, OK.  They requested the door be put to one side for easier access and an electric box on the roof. We had some trouble getting the safe room off the trailer, but nevertheless, we were able to do it and was able to place the safe room exactly where the gentleman requested it be installed.

4′ x 4′ Safe Room Installation in McAlester, OK

We had a customer who was a recipient of a Pittsburg County safe room rebate. The terms of this program are identical to the SoonerSafe program that was just held earlier this week. Due to the time limitations on the installation, we had very little notice about this safe room and was working with very tight deadlines. Needless to say, we got this one built and installed within the required time frame.

This customer opted for a 4′ x 4′ safe room installed on their back porch. They wanted it right up against the stairs leading to the back door and as close to the wall as we could get it. Due to the slope of the pad, it wasn’t parallel to the wall, but the base of the safe room is right up against the wall and right next to the stairs as they requested. It includes the FEMA required three-bolt locking system, along with a vent on top that isn’t visible when looking at it.

Really tight fitting safe room installation in Owasso, OK

Posted by OKStormShelters on November 1st, 2011 in Latest Work, Safe Rooms

We recently just finished doing a safe room install for a customer in Owasso, OK. He obviously took measurements twice and we cut once. There was very little room for error and he took advantage of every inch. This was a really tight fitting installation, but we made it happen! It was a really great looking installation once complete.

He wanted to run electricity to his safe room, so we added electrical boxes and a light box on this safe room as you can see in the pictures. This is an available option if you’re interested and we do it for free!

6′ x 8′ Safe Room in Tahlequah, OK

Posted by OKStormShelters on August 3rd, 2011 in Latest Work, Safe Rooms

We recently installed the largest safe room we offer in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  This customer of ours opted to use the 1/4″ steel that we no longer offer.  It was the last safe room built with this option.  This safe room was a beast.  We encountered a few issues with it because of the size and weight of this thing, but we were able to successfully install it.  You can view pictures of the installed safe room below.
